I remade my website!

Introduction§

I remade my website. I'm using Zola now with a much more advanced stylesheet compared to before, that tries to blend elegance with simplicity and legibility. I hope everyone reading this likes it. I've tried to make sure that the links for important content I want to preserve remains the same.

I'm planning on splitting it off soon to being a custom theme for Zola so people can reuse it as and when needed. I still have some things I want to change and add before I finish this, mainly around features and accessibility, but it's at a stage where I'm willing to make it my new canonical website and is still generally better. I'll update everyone with a new blog post when this is ready for people who like this style.

The canonical source code is now under one repository called pages, with the output being a seperate branch. This makes it easier to keep track of the website and avoids splitting things across two seperate repositories. The licensing stays the same as before.

Change in content§

When I first made this blog, I initially planned to regularly post to it. In reality, finding interesting things to talk about is suprisingly hard, and I've been dealing with personal issues alongside my time at university. This is also the same reason I haven't worked on my projects as much as I have wanted to until the past few months.

That said, I have some blog post ideas that are in the works, and that I've just been a bit too busy with uni work to finish. I want to use my blog to talk more about different subjects, including technical, personal and social topics. I'm finishing university soon and there will likely be a time gap before I can get a job, so I'll use this time to catch up on projects and to populate this blog with entries.
